Service Description

Become ready to assist in emergencies with the Emergency First Response (EFR) certification. This class teaches folks how to respond to life-threatening emergencies where CPR is necessary for infants and children. Choking and clearing airway obstructions for both conscious and unconscious infants are also covered. Infants are babies less than 1 year old. EFR teaches the life saving skills that are applicable to any situation, not just parents. The fun part about EFR training is learning serious medical emergency response skills in a positive, team environment. You will gain the confidence that you are prepared to help in an emergency. You'll learn CPR, first aid, AED and oxygen deployment. At conclusion of this course, you will earn your 24 month certification; re-certification is required to stay active with the rating.
